Happy Mother's Day! We hope it is a special day for all who are celebrating. 💕

Behind every confident chick is a little penguin mum who shows up every day (and night).

You can show that special person in your life how much you appreciate her this Mother’s Day. By gifting a digital symbolic little penguin adoption, name a little penguin on behalf of your mum or significant person in your life and you will receive a certificate to print or email. Sharing this special gift funds wildlife rescue and rehabilitation, habitat restoration and vital conservation efforts by Phillip Island Nature Parks on Milawul. Thanks for your support.

Another echidna friend back in the wild! 🦔

The dedicated team at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre treated this prickly little guy for a skin infection. After responding well, they were safely released near their rescue site.

The Penguin Foundation and its generous donors are delighted to provide funding to help these magical rehabilitation and release moments keep on happening ♥

A big and busy day for these little penguins! 🐧

This World Penguin Day, we’re recognising the support of our visitors and the ongoing research and conservation, that helps us continue to secure a bright future for the estimated 37,000 little penguins who call Phillip Island (Milawul) home.

This World Earth Day, the Penguin Foundation team extends sincere thanks to our donors for generously supporting our vital conservation work.

We are a proud funder of the ‘Future-proofing little penguins’ project. Over this three-year project, in excess of 36,000 plants have been put in the ground, including 28,500 plants on firebreaks on the Summerland Peninsula. More than 7,500 plants have gone into target areas of little penguin habitat. This massive effort was achieved through the combined efforts of Phillip Island Nature Parks staff and volunteers, Bunurong Land Council Aboriginal Corporation Natural Resource Management staff, the Penguin Foundation team and volunteer groups.

Extra special thanks goes to our corporate partners at Royal Canin, Toyota Australia, Scotch College, NAB and Penguin Books Australia who have enthusiastically joined us over many years for some highly productive planting days. 🌳
