Thank you to all our wonderful families for supporting our teachers and Education Support Staff yesterday. We feel very supported.

Here’s the reality our teachers are facing right now
📌 Victorian teachers are the LOWEST paid in the country
📌 They work 12+ hours of UNPAID overtime every single week
📌 A teacher with 30 years experience earns up to $18,000 LESS than their NSW counterpart
📌 Most teachers leave the profession within their first 5 years
📌 500+ schools were closed or disrupted today
📌 98% of union members voted YES to strike action
📌 The government offered 18.5% over 4 years — the union is asking for 35%
📌 Victoria calls itself ‘the education state’ while funding schools $2.4 billion below what was promised.
