Please be advised that the official website for birth registration requests in Jamaica has been unavailable since last year.
The Consulate of Jamaica has identified a licensed agent in Jamaica who can assist with obtaining and apostilling birth certificates for a fee.
This service is available for those who urgently need to complete the process.

The Jamaica Aruba Relief Committee extends its sincere gratitude to the people of Aruba for their generosity and solidarity in the aftermath of the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa. Jamaica deeply appreciates the compassion, support, and assistance shown during this difficult time.
The Committee would like to clearly reaffirm that all funds raised for Jamaicaβs relief efforts are transferred directly to the Red Cross of Aruba. The Committee does not handle, manage, or retain any portion of the donations received.
All contributions are processed through official banking channels and forwarded in full to the Red Cross of Aruba, which is equipped with the necessary expertise and humanitarian mandate to ensure aid reaches those affected in Jamaica.
The Committeeβs role is strictly focused on:
β’ Raising awareness about humanitarian needs in Jamaica
β’ Supporting fundraising efforts
β’ Coordinating with the Red Cross of Aruba on relief initiatives
β’ Ensuring transparency for the Aruba community regarding the relief efforts

Jamaica needs our help. Join us this Saturday, November 15, at YMCA San Nicolas from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to drop off donations.
Needed items: non-perishable food, hygiene products, baby supplies, clothing, bedding, and other essentials.

Jamaica Relief Aid Committee Announces Successful First Day of Drop-Off at YMCA San Nicolas.
The Jamaica Relief Aid Committee is pleased to report that Saturday, November 8, 2025 marked the first day of drop-off support at the YMCA San Nicolas, in response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa, which struck the western parishes of Jamaica on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. The day was a resounding success, with supporters turning out in strong numbers to contribute essential necessities for those impacted by the disaster.
A robust outpouring of donations of basic necessities for hurricane victims.
Community engagement from both Jamaican and Aruban supporters, underscoring the cross-diasporic solidarity in this relief effort.
In addition to community contributions, the initiative is honored to announce, a prominent visit from the Prime Minister of Aruba to the YMCA San Nicolas, recognizing the outpouring of support from both the Aruban and Jamaican communities.
The committee has secured storage facilities to safely store donated items, made possible through the generosity of the Management of Fast Delivery, whose significant assistance ensures smooth and organized relief operations.
The Freewinds has generously offered their support for helping to organize a charity concert to be held in December, with all proceeds directed toward ongoing relief efforts. A telethon is in the planning to further boost support, with a date to be announced in the near future.
Donations can be dropped off at YMCA San Nicolas this Saturday November 15 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Red Cross Aruba will also be present.
The committee will continue to provide regular updates as relief operations progress.

Aruba-Jamaica Relief Effort Following Category 5 Hurricane Melissa
In the wake of a catastrophic Category 5 hurricane Melissa, which struck Jamaica on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, causing extensive devastation in the western part of the island, the Aruba and Jamaican communities stand united in support and relief efforts.
Key Developments
The Government of Aruba and the Honorary Consul of Jamaica in Aruba, are actively coordinating relief and support under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that facilitates collaborative humanitarian response.
The Red Cross has mobilized to assist with the relief effort. Donation channels are being established to ensure aid reaches Jamaica swiftly and efficiently.
Red Cross donation boxes will be placed at designated locations island-wide to collect contributions for Jamaica.
