Rest in peace, Sourov Kumar Saha (57N).

This morning, a massive fire explosion occurred on the forward side of the ship M.T BANGLAR JYOTI (Crude Oil Tanker), where Deck Cadet( Apprentice Officer) Sourov Saha and three workshop personnel tragically lost their lives instantly.

May Allah grant patience and strength to their families.

The officer cadets and Ex-cadets from all the marine academies of Bangladesh strongly stand with the guided by Bangladeshi students. We gladly inform that we are also the students of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University, Bangladesh. We hope that all the Bangladeshi Merchant Navy officers and sailors from home and abroad will be standing with us amid the quota movement. We seek the forgiveness of the souls of the martyrs who sacrificed life for their right. Any cadets betraying the current quota movement will be penaltized according to chain of command.
