This college came into being with the strenuous effort of some patrons of learning of Chittagong with a mission to expand the light of education for the underprivileged. Despite some constraints regarding infrastructure, this college is a centre of academic excellence for its result in different public examinations and extraordinary performance in various co-curricular activities. The campus accommodates four multistoried academic building, a Shaheed Minar and a three storied mosque. Moreover, the college authority has been trying heartily to expand all-out amenities for the betterment of the students.
