On 1st February 2026, SURD and the Center for Language Studies (CLS) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the SURD Office, establishing a semi-autonomous affiliation between the two institutions. The MoU was signed by the Director General of SURD and the CLS In-Charge.
This milestone marks a significant step for SURD and the Rohingya community, introducing a new model of English language learning based on natural and meaningful acquisition. Through this partnership, CLS aims to strengthen access to quality education and open new pathways for learners to grow with confidence and purpose.
