🤝 On 7 December 2025, Ambassador H.E. Mrs. Thitiporn Chirasawadi met with H.E. Mr. Sk. Bashir Uddin, Adviser to the Ministry of Commerce, to strengthen Thailand–Bangladesh economic cooperation.
🌐 Key discussions included:
• Expanding bilateral trade in both volume and diversification
• Establishing a new shipping route between Ranong and Chittagong Port
• Advancing a Free Trade Agreement (FTA)
👔 The Director of the Thai Trade Center also joined the mission, highlighting Thailand’s commitment to deeper trade and investment ties with Bangladesh.
🇹🇭🇧🇩 Together, both sides expressed determination to move forward with detailed consultations soon.

🇹🇭✨ On 4 December 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Dhaka hosted a reception to commemorate the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, Thailand’s National Day, and Father’s Day.
🎖️ Brigadier General Dr. M. Sakhawat Hossain, Advisor to the Ministry of Shipping and the Ministry of Labour and Employment, graced the occasion as Guest of Honour.
👥 The event welcomed approximately 200 distinguished guests, including members of the diplomatic corps, representatives from international organizations and government agencies, as well as Thai and Bangladeshi business leaders. The Thai Trade Center also invited 30 concerned government officials and business leaders to join the celebration.
🎙️ H.E. Mrs. Thitiporn Chirasawadi, Ambassador of Thailand to Bangladesh, paid tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother and delivered a heartfelt speech in remembrance of the enduring benevolence of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great. She also highlighted the strength of Thai-Bangladesh relations across political, economic, and social spheres, reflecting on past cooperation and outlining future initiatives to deepen bilateral ties.
🍽️ Guests enjoyed authentic Thai cuisine and desserts, accompanied by a captivating display of fruit and vegetable carving. The Embassy was also pleased to receive support from the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), New Delhi Office, which provided cultural performances to showcase Thai soft power through food and culture.eat, Thailand’s National Day, and Father’s Day.

📢 Strengthening Regional Trade Cooperation
On 30 October 2025, the Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI) and the International Institute for Trade and Development (ITD) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in a hybrid ceremony, marking a new chapter in regional collaboration.
This strategic partnership will foster joint efforts in trade research, policy development, and capacity building, advancing shared goals across Asia.
The ceremony featured remarks from:
