বাংলাদেশ মেডিকেল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের (PG Hospital) এক ঝাঁক তরুণ ডাক্তার (Presently MPH Students) আজ আমাদের রসায়ন বিভাগে ল্যাব পরিদর্শনে আসেন। গবেষণার প্রতি তাদের গভীর আগ্রহ এবং নতুন কিছু জানার উদ্দীপনা সত্যিই অনুপ্রেরণাদায়ক। এভাবে ডাক্তারা গবেষণায় এগিয়ে আসলে দেশের জনস্বাস্থ্য উন্নয়নে অবদান রাখা সম্ভব।

ল্যাবের বিভিন্ন কার্যক্রম ঘুরে দেখা এবং পারস্পরিক আলোচনা মাধ্যমে জ্ঞান ও অভিজ্ঞতা বিনিময়ের এক সুন্দর পরিবেশ সৃষ্টি হয়। ভবিষ্যতে চিকিৎসা ও রসায়ন বিজ্ঞানের সমন্বয়ে আরও উন্নত গবেষণার সম্ভাবনা নিয়ে আমরা আশাবাদী।

এই ধরনের উদ্যোগ আমাদের একাডেমিক ও গবেষণামূলক কার্যক্রমকে আরও গতিশীল করে তুলবে—এটাই প্রত্যাশা।

The Atomic Energy Centre, Dhaka (AECD) is one of the most important scientific research institutions in Bangladesh, working in the field of nuclear science and its peaceful applications.

📍 Basic Description
The Atomic Energy Centre, Dhaka is the oldest nuclear research centre in Bangladesh, located on the campus of the University of Dhaka. It operates under the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission, which is responsible for promoting the peaceful use of atomic energy in the country.

🏛️ History
The centre was established in 1964 and officially inaugurated in 1965.
Initially, it was part of the Pakistan Atomic Energy program, but after the independence of Bangladesh in 1971, it came under national control.
In 1973, it became part of the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission
