My Tiny Balcony Garden 🌱 | Growing Fresh Plants with Kitchen Waste & Love

I absolutely love being surrounded by nature. Today, I’m sharing with you the plants I’ve grown on the little balcony of my home.

The first plant you see in the pot is a Crepe Jasmine (Tabernaemontana divaricata). I grew this plant from a cutting taken from a branch.

Next, you can see my chili pepper plants. Look at those beautiful chilies growing on both plants!

Beside them, there is a sweet potato plant. And then you can see my Night-flowering Jasmine (Nyctanthes arbor-tristis). This plant had been blooming beautifully for quite some time, and now it seems to be taking a little break from flowering. As you can see, it has grown wonderfully fresh and lush, with such big, beautiful leaves!

And finally, you can see my guava plant. For the very first time, it has produced a tiny guava fruit. I’m so happy to see it!

And guess what? I haven’t used any chemical fertilizers to grow these fresh and healthy plants! They are all thriving with the help of organic fertilizer made from kitchen waste and, of course, lots of love and care.

If you love nature as much as I do, then please subscribe and stay connected with me. 🌿💚

Aviary update:
The energy of these little colorful birds seems endless. Throughout the day, they hop from branch to branch, always busy and full of life. Whenever someone comes close, their excitement multiplies—they gather together, chirping loudly to alert one another.

Along with hanging new clay nesting pots, I also placed date palm leaves for them. They are now incredibly busy building their nests. If you notice their alert expressions and constant chirping in this video, it's all because they've spotted a visitor nearby!

Just like humans, a bird's activity level is often a sign of its well-being. A happy, healthy bird loves to play, fly, explore, and eat. When you see them doing these things, you can truly notice the joy and vitality reflected in their behavior.

If, like me, you enjoy being close to nature and love watching wildlife, I'd be delighted to have you follow my page and join me on this journey.

Aviary Update!!
An albino lovebird fixed its eyes on me, watching every movement with remarkable attention. Within moments, it seemed to communicate with the others, and one by one, few of them gathered nearby. They are still not comfortable with cameras, and if you watch the video closely, you'll notice their genuine curiosity and cautious nature.

Standing here with them always takes me back to the very first day they were introduced to this aviary. I still remember how difficult flying was for them. Most of them could barely stay in the air and would simply end up clinging to the aviary net. Those first days were filled with patience, hope, and countless little moments of learning.

Today, less than three months later, the difference is truly heartwarming. Watching them fly with growing confidence reminds me that with love, proper care, and time, even the smallest steps can lead to incredible progress.

Their transformation is built on a few simple but important practices:
🌱 A nutritious, balanced seed mix every day.
🌱 Fresh organic greens grown at our own home, including neem leaves, tulsi, Bermuda grass, moringa leaves, and other natural treats.
🌱 A clean aviary, maintained twice a day.
🌱 Fresh, clean drinking water at all times.

Birds don't ask for much. They simply need care, consistency, and a safe place to call home. In return, they reward us with their trust, their energy, and the joy of watching them thrive.

Let's all do our part to provide our feathered friends with healthy food, a clean environment, and the love they deserve. Every bird deserves the chance to live a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life. ❤️🕊️

If you enjoy being part of this journey, I'd truly appreciate your support. Please follow the page, like, comment, and share this post. Your encouragement inspires me to keep sharing these beautiful moments.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Much love to you all. ❤️

There’s something deeply rewarding about seeing my aviary become a place where my birds can truly thrive. I’m incredibly happy that I’ve been able to provide them with a peaceful, comfortable environment and nutritious food. Their cheerful chirping, playful energy, and vibrant colors are the best proof that they’re happy and healthy.

I brought them home during the hottest part of the year, so I wanted to give them enough time to settle into their new environment before introducing breeding boxes. Keeping both the intense heat and their adjustment period in mind, I decided to wait.

Unfortunately, about three months later, I was heartbroken when two birds escaped after cutting through the wire mesh. A senior bird keeper later explained what had likely happened—they had reached breeding condition, but without a suitable nesting space, they became stressed and aggressive enough to escape.

After that, I placed clay nesting pots in the aviary, and to my surprise, the remaining birds immediately became busy building their nests. It was amazing to watch how naturally they responded once their needs were met.

If you’ve ever experienced something similar with your birds, I’d love to hear your story. Please share it in the comments so we can all learn from each other. 🐦❤️

Aviary Update!!

Another moment of pure serenity. 🕊️💛
I wonder how much of this feeling can truly be captured through a screen. Watching the video is one thing—but experiencing that moment in real life was something truly unforgettable.

This was filmed just a few hours after I introduced nine young budgerigars into their new, spacious aviary. As they explored their new home, this beautiful Lutino quietly settled into a peaceful corner, gently preening its feathers with complete contentment.

There was something so calming and mesmerizing about that scene that I simply couldn't resist capturing it. Even now, I've lost count of how many times I've watched this video—it never fails to bring me a sense of peace.

If you also find joy in the quiet beauty of nature and birds, I'd love to have you here on this journey. 💚

Aviary update!!
They were watching us very warily. Their chirping made it feel as though we had stepped into a fair for birds. Flocking together, they moved from branch to branch, calling out and signaling the presence of newcomers in their own language. The breeding pots provided for them were somewhat small, so I had brought along a few larger ones to swap in; I managed to replace one, but couldn't do the rest. The reason? I’ll tell you later.
Don’t forget to share your birds in comment section.
