Remembering the brave Language Martyrs of 1952, the cadets of the DCSD BNCC Platoon paid their heartfelt tribute at the Shaheed Minar of Dhaka Collegiate School by placing a wreath in their honour.

With solemn respect and disciplined presence, the cadets commemorated the sacrifice of those who laid down their lives for our mother tongue, reaffirming our commitment to uphold the spirit and dignity of International Mother Language Day.

On 16 February 2026, our school held the Prize Giving Ceremony of the Annual Sports Competition, followed by the Prize Giving Ceremony of the Annual Cultural Competition on 17 February 2026.
On both occasions, the Guard Contingent and Band Contingent of the Dhaka Collegiate School BNCC Platoon had the honour of presenting an armed salute to our respected Headmistress. The cadets carried out their ceremonial responsibilities with discipline, coordination, and sincerity, adding dignity and pride to the events.
Through their smart turnout and well-executed parade, the members of the platoon once again demonstrated their commitment to duty and upheld the true spirit of BNCC within the institution.

In recognition of his commendable performance, Cadet Lance Corporal Sanjid Hossain was promoted to Cadet Corporal by Major Rifat sir.

Cadet Lance Corporal Sanjid Hossain participated in the Inter-Regiment/Wing Extempore Speech competition at the BNCC Training Academy. He was appointed team leader of the Ramna Regiment team by Major Rifat. The Ramna Regiment team won the competition. The prize was presented by Lt. Col. Ishaque, BGBM, psc.

Cadets of our Dhaka Collegiate School BNCC Platoon had the honour of attending the Victory Day flypast and para-jumping display organized by the Bangladesh Armed Forces on 16 December at the National Parade Ground in Dhaka. This year’s programme marked the 54th anniversary of Victory Day, commemorating the historic liberation of Bangladesh in 1971 and the sacrifices of our freedom fighters.

The spectacular event featured an impressive fly-past by military aircraft and helicopters and a world-record flag-carrying para-jumping display, where 54 paratroopers descended with the national flag to celebrate our nation’s independence and bravery.

A proud moment for our cadets as they witnessed firsthand the professionalism, discipline, and patriotic spirit of the Bangladesh Army, Air Force, and Navy.

On November 12, 2025, the Cadet Under Officer promotion exam for all institutions under 01 Battalion, Ramna Regiment, was held at Dhaka College campus.

Cadet Sergeant Shafik Sadik from Dhaka Collegiate School Platoon took part in the exam, which started at 7:00 a.m.
