জিএমই গ্রুপের ব্যবস্হাপনা পরিচালক বিশিষ্ট শিল্পপতি, সফল ব্যবসায়ী ও উদ্যোক্তা ডাঃ চৌধুরী হাসান মাহমুদ গতকাল (২১-১২-২০২১) রাতে ইউনাইটেড হাসপাতালে ইন্তেকাল করেছেন (ইন্না লিল্লাহি ওয়া ইন্না ইলাহি রাজিউন)। তিনি অত্যন্ত ভদ্র, নম্র,অমায়িক, নিরহঙ্কার ও সদালাপী একজন মানুষ ছিলেন। দেশের স্বাস্হ্য সেক্টরে বিশেষ করে অত্যাধুনিক মেডিকেল যন্ত্রপাতির আমদানি, বিপনন,বাজারজাত করণ এবং উন্নতমানের মেডিকেল ডিভাইস উৎপাদনে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভুমিকা রেখেছেন। এছাড়াও এগ্রো কেমিক্যালস, গবাদি পশু, মুদ্রণ শিল্প ইত্যাদি সেক্টরেও তাঁর বিশাল ভুমিকা রয়েছে। তিনি ছোট-বড় বেশকিছু শিল্প প্রতিষ্ঠানের অন্যতম উদ্যোক্তা।

আমাদের অত্যন্ত প্রিয় অভিভাবক ও জিএমই গ্রুপের ব্যবস্হাপনা পরিচালক চৌধুরী হাসান মাহমুদের অকাল প্রয়াণে জিএমই পরিবার খুবই মর্মাহত,ব্যথিত ও শোকাভিভূত।

তিনি চট্রগ্রাম জেলার রাউজান উপজেলার বিনাজুরি গ্রামের নিবাসী মরহুম শিল্পপতি এম. আর চৌধুরীর দ্বিতীয় পুত্র এবং আবদুল মোনেম লিমিটেড-এর প্রতিষ্ঠাতা স্বনামধন্য শিল্পপতি মরহুম আবদুল মোনেম সাহেবের কনিষ্ঠ কন্যা ও জি.এম.ই. গ্রুপের চেয়ারম্যান ডাঃ ফারহানা মোনেমের জীবনসঙ্গী ছিলেন। ডাঃ চৌধুরী হাসান মাহমুদ দুই কন্যা সন্তানের জনক ছিলেন।
আল্লাহপাক উনাকে জান্নাতুল ফেরদৌস দান করুন। আল্লাহ উনার শোক সন্তপ্ত পরিবারকে এ বিশাল শোক কাটিয়ে উঠার তৌফিক দিন।আমিন।

মরহুমের নামাজের জানাযা আগামীকাল বৃহস্পতিবার বাদ জোহর গুলশান আজাদ মসজিদে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।

জি.এম.ই. পরিবার ও মরহুমের শোকসন্তপ্ত পরিবারের পক্ষ থেকে ওনার বিদেহী আত্মার জন্য সকলের নিকট দোয়া প্রার্থনা করছি।
