Have you ever felt this crushing tension climbing up your neck or your pulse trying to escape through your neck violently?
Yeah that's hypertension and it's "World Hypertension Day" today. And on this day, the BRAC University Community Service Club (BUCSC) wants to raise awareness and remind everyone about this silent yet dangerous condition.
If left untreated, it can ultimately result to cardiac diseases, kidney distress and a lot other complex conditions. Thus, a healthy lifestyle should be practiced by everyone. Lower salt intake, managing stress, frequent follow-ups, proper sleep schedule, exercises - all such practices can aid strongly in managing this condition.
On World Hypertension Day, we must keep this in our mind that the most dangerous conditions of our body are the ones we can't see and our body must be paid heed to before silence turns into a lifelong suffering!

The second Sunday of May is for honoring motherβs unconditional love. No matter how old you grow, youβll always be her "little one."
Mothers are the heart of the home and often the strongest people weβll ever know, even when their choices are hard to understand, theyβre always rooted in our betterment.
This Sunday, call and make her feel as vital as she truly is. But remember she deserves that same love and support every other day of the year. To all the mothers out there you are the most wonderful thing that ever happened to us.

On this world Red Cross and Red Cresent Day, we come together to celebrate the power of humanity, compassion and unity. Across the globe, countless of volunteers stands at the frontlines offering hope in time of crisis, extends the hands of hope without hesitation and proves that even small act of kindness can create a lasting impact.
Brac University Community Service Club (BUCSC), believes in carrying forward the spirit of selfness service. Let this day remind us that helping others is not just a duty but a responsibility we all share as human beings. Together, lets stand for humanity, today and everyday.

BRAC University Community Service Club wishes a happy Buddha Purnima to those who celebrate!
Buddha Purnima is a good reminder that weβre all just trying to find a little peace in the middle of the chaos. Itβs about realizing that happiness usually comes from within, not from the stuff we collect.
Maybe todayβs the day to just slow down and breathe. Let go of the heavy things: the ego, the old grudges, the stress and just try to be a bit kinder. Even a small moment of being present can change your whole outlook.

'No human masterpiece has been created without great labour' ~ AndrΓ© Gide
1st May is known as International Worker's day. No work should be underestimated, every work should be respected equally. Without the labour, sacrifices, of the workers, we would not be able to see such master pieces in this world.

On this day, 90 years ago, fate itself was re-written. The world bore witness to a miracle. The birth of a pioneer, a trailblazer and in every sense of the word, an ideal. The birth of Sir Fazle Hasan Abed, KCMG.
And he paved the path for us all. With his endless ingenuity, courage, conviction and empathy. With his almost superhuman ability to inspire hope, even in the face of the deepest dark, the truest despair. To save and empower lives without ever faltering.
And today, we, the BRAC University Community Service Club I BUCSC remember the endlessly inspiring legacy of this icon with reverent awe. We continue to bask in the glowing warmth of this everbright star. And continue to strive to keep its shine ever-luminous.

On Monday, April 20, 2026, the BRAC University Community Service Club (BUCSC) came alive with the spirit of Boishakh for our Spring 2026 Orientation!
This semester, we merged the vibrant traditions of the Bengali New Year named Bornil Bangaliana with a nostalgic trip down memory lane. From the colorful vibrant decoration to the food, everything had a touch of Bengali culture.
The room was filled with laughter and excitement. This orientation marked the farewell of the panel and directorial body (2024-25) and brought new leads, panel and directorial body (2026-27), carrying their alumniβs legacy forward. Even though it was an emotional moment to bid adieu to the previous panel, we welcome the new era with open arms In a tearful goodbye, our alumni shared the experiences about their journey and what they hope the club achieves in the long run.
Many fun games were also included to entertain new members. As the celebrations wrapped up, one thing was clear: the new semester is starting with a pulse of compassion and a strong community spirit. We are ready to serve, lead, and keep that childhood wonder alive in everything we do!
