৬ ডিসেম্বর ২০২৫। বানৌজা ডাইভিং বোট মাছরাঙা তে সিরিমনিয়াল ব্রাও অনবোর্ডিং এর সময় নৌ কমান্ডো (SWADS) এবং নাবিক এনামুল হক, AB (NCT) হঠাৎ শিপ সাইড থেকে নিচে পড়ে যান এবং মাথায় আঘাত পেয়ে জ্ঞান হারান।

পানিতে পড়ার সাথে সাথেই চারপাশের অন্ধকার, ঠান্ডা আর জোয়ারের শক্ত স্রোতে তাকে আর দেখা যাচ্ছিল না। দায়িত্বে থাকা দুই নাবিক কোনো দ্বিধা ছাড়াই ডাইভ অ্যালার্ম বাজিয়ে পানিতে ঝাঁপ দেন।

জাহাজের পিছন দিক থেকে অল্প দূরত্বে তাকে অচেতন অবস্থায় খুঁজে পাওয়া যায়। পানি থেকে তুলে দ্রুত CPR, airway clearing এবং pulse check শুরু হয় কিন্তু তার অবস্থা তখনো অত্যন্ত সংকটাপন্ন।

পরবর্তীতে নৌবাহিনীর অ্যাম্বুলেন্সে তাকে বানৌজা পতেঙ্গা নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়। সেখানে প্রয়োজনীয় স্ট্যাবিলাইজেশন শেষে সিদ্ধান্ত হয় তাকে ঢাকার CMH এ এয়ারলিফট করার।

CMH Emergency and Cardiac Unit এ নেওয়ার পরও তিনি লাইফ সাপোর্টে ছিলেন। চিকিৎসকরা সর্বোচ্চ চেষ্টা করলেও বহুবার কার্ডিয়াক জটিলতার পর তাকে আর ফিরিয়ে আনা সম্ভব হয়নি।
