𝐃𝐨 𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐈 𝐰𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝?

This winter has already turned extreme.⁣
With the cold wave expected to continue until 11 January and winter lasting until end of this month, nights are becoming dangerous for people sleeping on the streets and for animals living outdoors.⁣

Echoes of Earth (EoE) is launching a pilot initiative built on one idea:⁣
conscious sharing, not charity.⁣

🧣 How to Participate⁣
1️⃣ Take the Extra Layer Test⁣
2️⃣ If you have 1–2 warm clothes or blankets, you can:⁣

Share directly with EoE for distribution on 15–17 January⁣

Or pass it to someone in need yourself and share your action online⁣-

𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐭𝐚𝐠 #𝐄𝐨𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐬 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐦⁣

🚫 No money needed — only your unused warm items.⁣

🐾 This warmth is for:⁣

People sleeping on the streets⁣

Street animals exposed to cold nights⁣

This is a pilot initiative. Even if only a few respond, we will begin — starting with our own extra layers — because care should not wait for numbers.⁣

This winter, don’t just give warmth — share it intentionally.⁣

From 42°C in summer to 7°C foggy mornings, Bangladesh is experiencing extreme climate swings. Our six traditional seasons are disappearing, and disasters hit multiple times a year—impacting densely populated areas and vulnerable communities.

At Echoes of Earth, we amplify these voices and document how climate change affects lives, resilience, and the environment. Every story matters, and every action counts.

We were truly honored to have Arannye inaugurated by François Grosjean, Director of Alliance Française de Dhaka, on February 26, 2025! 🌿

The exhibition opened with a rhythmic Manipuri-style dance, followed by a symbolic offering of flowers to plastic and pollution, sending a message of hope for a cleaner world.

Almost 50 artists submitted works through an open call, including installations, with a few selected for the exhibition. Alongside them, the Bhoirobee Creative Team presented amazing works, and Gen Lab presented some artworks developed by children, adding creativity and extra meaning to the event.

This was the first major art exhibition where art met activism, and we feel privileged to share this journey.

Arannye-অরণ্যে: Art for Earth was a powerful cultural event raising awareness about plastic pollution and promoting sustainable solutions through art. Funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Plastic-Free Future Youth Grants, it was organized and led by Arannye, facilitated by Gen Lab, with the Bhoirobee Creative Team leading the Dance Drama.

The young voices met at the first and biggest art exhibition where the medium was reusable plastic, showcasing their artwork to protect the Earth and combating climate change. Over 50 youth and artists came together to raise awareness about plastic pollution.

They asked the questions through art that mattered most:
“Why are we taught to clean after destruction, but not to prevent it?”

Arannye belonged to them—and their courage made it alive.
