Finished the book almost 2 hours ago. Then attached some tapes on the pages where I annotated.
About the book... yes... well, you better read it yourself.

๐๐จ๐จ๐ค ๐“๐ข๐ญ๐ฅ๐ž: A Thousand Splendid Suns
๐€๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ซ: Khaled Hosseini
๐†๐ž๐ง๐ซ๐ž:

- A little girl who grew up worshiping her father, who came to her every Thursday wearing a gray suit and white tie to spend the whole day with her.
And suddenly one day, her life changed. She got married to a guy who was only 30 years older than her. When she was headed to Kabul, she never thought what was waiting for her.
And the, one day, a girl came into her life, whose fate betrayed her in the same way. Whom she couldnโ€™t love at first but couldnโ€™t hate either. With time, they became friends or we can say a familyโ€” bounded by their own grief, fighting for their lives, between love, betrayal and war.

Before I started reading the book, I knew it was full of sad stories. But I never knew itโ€™d be that way. Whenever I thought, yes, now something good is gonna be happen, the author slapped me with even more sad situations.

June gone July came but this June was something.
There have been many Junes before, but this June felt different and too long!
Maybe because many unexpected and beautiful things happened!
As I always say, unexpected things often come beautifully but I didn't know some can be uglier too.
Okay, first, I got into University.
Second, I completely threw out someone from my life who once was a very important part of my life..
Third, BTS came back and I've been feeling overwhelmed with each passing moment. Fourth, I read a book called ''Tuesdays With Morrie'' (which I've already talked about) that made me cry over and over with every turning page.
Fifth, I ordered three abayas and now I'm trusfrated because I'm broke and need to save a lot of money.
Sixth, I bought some books which accidentally happened to be by Saratchandra Chattopadhyay .

I remember when I watched Devdas. After finishing the movie, my heart was filled with some unknown and different kind of emotions. A few days later, I was talking about the movie with my family and relatives, my statement was like that "You know, I watched Devdas recently. The movie was so good". Then my cousin brother said, "I cried while watching the movie, Sharukh played the character so well".
"Yes, especially when paro was running to see dev".

Today, I'm going to read the book. It's from my June book haul.
Will share my review soon.

โ€“I decided, I'm going to live or at least trying to liveโ€”the way I want, with dignity, with courage,...

Morrie Schwartz, the professor who chose to live even after knowing his incurable disease. Instead of drowning in grief, he gave a great lesson to his old palโ€”his former student, Mitch Albomโ€” through his life. Sharing the journey through a living course, on how to die and more importantly, how to live.

In a world, where we're all trying to fight for the things we don't even realize are worth fighting for, this man prioritized the things and people that truly matter.
We are so drowned in living our lives and wasting time on things we think are important, that we forget what actually mattersโ€”what we actually want for ourselves, that one day we all are gonna die.
But are we ready for that day? Like Morrie said, do we ever ask the bird on our shoulderโ€”โ€œIs today the day?โ€

"You'll come to my grave? To tell me your problems?"
โ€“And you'll give me answers?
" I'll give you what I can. Don't I always?''

This book doesn't just offer clarity and wisdom of life but the love between a student and his coach, his mentor. It shows what it means to be present for someone. To learn. To grow. To say goodbye with love.

I wandered while reading the book โ€œlittle did the boy ever know that his desire to understand the world would lead him to discover his Personal Legend?โ€.
It's a journey of a shepherd boy who went out to find his Personal Legend. Along the way, he meets different people, faces challenges, and experiences many unfortunate events which do nothing but teaches him to understand the Language that speaks to the Soul of the World. He also realizes that there exists a language that doesnโ€™t depend on words.
Throughout the journey, if he gains wisdom, he also makes some sacrificesโ€”because, as history says, nothing truly valuable comes for free. You have to give something in return to gain something. While reading the book, I actually understood the depth behind the word โ€œwhen you want something, the whole universe conspires in helping you to achieve itโ€.
๐Ÿ–‹๏ธ๐‘๐„๐…๐‹๐„๐‚๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐:
Don't ever stop listening to your heart because one day it might become tired and stop talking to you. The Alchemist reminded us that everything and everyone has their own personal legend to realize. But before that can happen, the Soul of the World tests everything that we learned along the way.

๐Ÿ–‹๏ธ๐…๐€๐•๐Ž๐”๐‘๐ˆ๐“๐„ ๐๐”๐Ž๐“๐„๐’:
โ€ข โ€œIf good things are coming, they will be a pleasant surprise. If bad things are,and you know in advance, you will suffer greatlyโ€.
โ€ข โ€œYour heart is alive. Keep listening to what it has to sayโ€.
Honestly, I don't even have any specific count of many lines I loved.

๐Ÿ–‹๏ธ๐Œ๐˜ ๐Ž๐๐ˆ๐๐ˆ๐Ž๐: When I ordered the book I didn't know what was written into it. I ordered it because someone experienced in this field said, everyone should read this book. As I opened the first page, I realized that the writer wrote this book with so much love and passion. He never expected this book will be alive despite his absence. He poured his everything into it, and maybe that's why, after reading it several times he never got bored. His writing style is beautiful, he knows how to put imagination into words. Before reading it, I didn't know this book would take me to another world, teach me the deeper meanings behind words like omens and Soul of the World...just like it did for the shepherd boy.
