Today was a highly significant day for RTRL Khulna as the Honorable Member of Parliament and Whip, Rakibul Islam Bokul (Khulna-3), visited our laboratory.

During the visit, he observed the overall laboratory activities with great interest, including diagnostic services. He carefully reviewed different sections of the laboratory and appreciated the dedication and professionalism of the team.
The Honorable MP expressed satisfaction with the laboratory’s work environment, biosafety practices, discipline, and commitment to providing quality patient-centered services.

This visit was truly inspiring for the entire RTRL Khulna team and will further motivate us to strengthen our efforts toward ensuring high-quality, internationally standardized laboratory services in the future.

Today we gather to bid a heartfelt farewell to Mr. Md Rafique Khan, a valued member of the Regional TB Reference Laboratory family.

Mr. Rafique Khan has dedicated a long and significant part of his professional life to this laboratory. His commitment, sincerity, and tireless efforts have contributed immensely to strengthening laboratory services and supporting the fight against tuberculosis. Over the years, he has not only fulfilled his responsibilities with excellence but has also inspired colleagues with his discipline, cooperation, and positive attitude.

As he embarks on a new journey abroad, we wish him the very best of luck and success.

A surprising and inspiring visit took place at the Regional TB Reference Laboratory (RTRL), Khulna. Our honourable Divisional Director (Health), Dr Md Mujibur Rahman Sir visited the laboratory to oversee and review the ongoing activities and overall performance.

During his visit, he carefully observed the laboratory workflow, quality control procedures, biosafety practices, and diagnostic services related to tuberculosis. He interacted with the laboratory staff, discussed operational challenges, and provided valuable guidance to strengthen service delivery. His presence motivated the team and reinforced the importance of maintaining high standards in TB diagnosis and patient care.

On this 21st February, we honor the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives for our mother tongue.
Let us respect and preserve our language with pride.

We have successfully completed the in-house training at RTRL Khulna in February 2026.

হাঁড়ির খবর!

সবাই মিলে খুলনায় আজ জমলো চড়ুইভাতি,
RTRL পরিবার আমরা—হলাম কাজের সাথী।
আজকে আমি কানিজ বলবো—সবার হাঁড়ির খবর,
পিকনিকে সব ফাঁস হবে আজ, নেই তো কারো সবর!

পরিষ্কারে ওস্তাদ মোদের মুরাদ ভাই,
পিকনিকে সব চকমক করবে—নেই তো কোনো হায়!
মাঝে মাঝে তাকে পাই না খুজে
খবর নিয়ে জানা গেছে—সে পানের দোকানে আছে।
ঘাটে গিয়ে আয়েশ করে, মুরাদ খাচ্ছে পান,
লাল ঠোঁটে ফিরে এসে—ধরে কাজের গান!

মায়ার টানে সালমা আপা—খুন্তি ধরেছে হাতে,
চাকরি না থাকলেও তিনি—আছেন মোদের সাথে!"

কাজের বেলায় ইউসুফ ভাই ঠিক যেন এক রোবট,
বললে যেটা করবে সেটা, নেই তো কোনো ক্ষোভ।
অর্ডার দিলে অনুগত, এক নিমিষেই শেষ,
কাজের দক্ষতায় সে আসলেই খুব বেশ!
কিন্তু হঠাৎ কি যে হয়, নেই তো কোনো হদিস,
খুঁজতে গিয়ে ঘাম ছোটে, পাই না কোন নোটিশ।
ম্যাজিক দেখিয়ে ভেলকির মতো হয়ে যান হাওয়া,
সাধ্য কার আছে তখন ইউসুফ ভাইকে পাওয়া!

কালেকশন বুথে ডিউটি করে আমাদের, সাদ্দাম ভাই।
রোগী সামলাতে জুরি নেই তার ভিষন কায়দায়।
এমনিতে তিনি খুব সিরিয়াস, কপালে থাকে ভাঁজ,
কিন্তু এনজিও-র আপারা এলেই—বদলায় তাঁর সাজ!

রফিক আমাদের ল্যাব সাপোর্টার , সাপোর্ট দেয় সে ভারি,
কিন্তু তার চলার গতি—যেন গরুর গাড়ি!
ধীরেসুস্থে পা ফেলে সে, নেই তো কোনো তাড়া,
ভিসাটা হাতে পেলেই রফিক—হবে এদেশ ছাড়া!"

সুমন ভাই ইলেকট্রিশিয়ান, ট্যালেন্টেতে ঠাসা,
হাত লাগালে কাজটা সারা—তিনি ল্যাবের ভরসা।
কখনো সে ‘নন্দলাল’, কখনো সে ‘মনু’,
মাঝে মাঝে পাইনা তারে—হয়ে যায় সে অণু!

সবুজ ভাই তো শান্ত মানুষ, গুছিয়ে করেন কাজ,
নিখুঁতভাবে সামলান তিনি—সব কাজেরই লাজ।
বেশি কথা বলেন না তিনি, থাকেন চুপচাপ- বেশ,
কিন্তু উদাহরণ দিতে বসলে—হয় না কথার শেষ!

পঙ্কজ ও পাশে আছে, শান্ত মনের মানুষ,
কিন্তু আমাদের মিঠুন দাদা—উড়িয়ে দেন ফানুস!
কাজে তিনি খুব সিরিয়াস, হিসাব রাখেন ভারি,
ভুলভ্রান্তি সইবে না সে—দিতে পারেন ঝাড়ি।
একটু এদিক-ওদিক হলেই বলেন— “এ আর হয় না! জ্বলাতন!”
পঙ্কজ মগ্ন আত্মজ্ঞানে, বোঝে না চুন-পুঁটি,
সুযোগ পেলেই ল্যাবের কোণে দেয় সে লম্বা ছুটি!

ল্যাবে এলো নতুন এমটি—বলি তাদের কথা,
তুলি আর আসমা আপা—কমিটমেন্টে এ গাথা!
এমটি হয়ে ল্যাবে এসে—দিলো নতুন জোর,
পিকনিকে আজ বরণ করি—কাটুক কাজের ঘোর!

সেফটি অফিসার আমি—আপনাদেরই বোন,
আমার হাজারো নামে আছে আপনাদেরই মন!
কেউ ডাকে ডি এস টি আপা’কেউ বা বলে ক্লে আপা,
কেউবা বলে ‘খনিজ’,
পিকনিকে এই সেফটি দিতে—হাজির আমি কানিজ!

সব শেষে যার কথা না বললে—গল্প হবে মাটি,
আমাদের মামুন স্যার-ভীষন পরিপাটি!
তাকিয়ে বলেন, “বুঝছো তো বিষয়টা? ইন দ্য মিন টাইম,” পিকনিকে এসেও খুঁজছেন যেন -প্রোটেনশিয়ালিটি আর রাইম! স্যার বলেন, “আই আন্ডারস্ট্যান্ড,” আমরা বলি, “জ্বি,” পিকনিকে স্যার আপনার সাথে—মজাই হবে ফ্রি!

ফান করা এই মানুষগুলোই—আমাদের এই প্রাণ, সবাই মিলে গাইছি আজকে—বনভোজনের গান। রাগের কিছু নেই তো এতে, হাসিই মূল লক্ষ্য, RTRL পরিবার—থাকবে সবসময় ঐক্য!
