Day 2 of the Sacred Saga Dawa Festival was observed with deep faith and devotion at Samteling Monastery, Lingmoo, Middle Kolthang, under the Rangan–Yangang Constituency.
The auspicious occasion was graced by the presence of the wife of Hon'ble Minister Ven. Sonam Lama, along with Shri R K Basnett Chairman of IFFCO, Smt. Denkila Bhutia, OSD to HMLA Rangan–Yangang, Shri Rigzing Chopel, Sangha OSD, Shri Dorjee Bhutia, Government Contractor, Zilla member Shri K D Kafley and local residents who gathered to participate in the sacred celebrations.
The gathering witnessed prayers, spiritual teachings, and offerings dedicated to peace, harmony, prosperity, and the well-being of all sentient beings. The festival served as a reminder of the values of compassion, generosity, and selfless service embodied by Lord Buddha.
May the blessings of this holy occasion bring happiness, good health, prosperity, and lasting peace to all.

Hon'ble Deputy Speaker-cum-Area MLA Smt. Raj Kumari Thapa paid a visit to Shri Satya Sai Jyotir Niyalam Mandir at Middle Kolthang and interacted with the temple committee members and devotees.

She was accompanied by OSD to HCM Shri Karma S***a, Hon'ble Zilla Panchayat Member Shri K. D. Kafley, Jan Kalyan Prakostha Rangang-Yangang representative Shri Yurva Singh Limboo, and Panchayat Member Smt. Leela Chettri, Smt Munna Chettri, Smt Buddha Maya Khati, shri Ram Gurung, Shri Durga Basnett.

During the visit, the temple committee extended its heartfelt gratitude and congratulations to Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri.Prem Singh Tamang and Hon'ble Area MLA Smt.Raj Kumari Thapa for their generous financial support towards the construction and development of the temple.

The committee acknowledged the continuous support of the State Government in promoting religious and cultural heritage and expressed confidence that the temple will serve as an important spiritual and social centre for the people of the area.
