𝐑𝐞-𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲

In accordance with the Royal Kasho issued on 25 November 2025 and the subsequent appointment order issued by the Royal Civil Service Commission on 26 November 2025, the Home Secretary, Sonam Wangyel, has been reappointed to continue serving as the Secretary in the same Ministry. He completed his five-year term on 26 November 2025.

To mark this auspicious occasion, a Tendrel ceremony was organized by the Ministry. The Ministry extends its most sincere felicitations and looks forward to his continued exemplary leadership and guidance in further strengthening the Ministry’s endeavors in dedicated service to the Tsa-Wa-Sum.

To improve durability and sustainability, the government has started laying concrete on farm roads. In Chhukha’s Bjabchho Gewog, residents of Tsimakha village can now have better connectivity with the laying of concrete on their farm road.

Inauguration of Nu.6.8m PCC Farm Road – Tsimakha Chiwog, Bjabcho Gewog

We are pleased to share the successful completion and inauguration of the Nu.6.8m PCC farm road in Tsimakha Chiwog under Bjiabcho Gewog. The project, funded by the GoI under the SDP project, was completed on 3rd August 2025 and formally inaugurated on 31st August 2025 by Dasho Dzongda.
The inauguration was graced by the presence of the Hon’ble MP, Dzongkhag and Gewog officials, and local residents.
This vital infrastructure will greatly benefit the people of Tsimakha by improving transportation of their farm produce, making it easier and more efficient. It is also expected to encourage farmers to enhance their productivity in crops such as potatoes, carrots, chillies, cabbages, and other vegetables.
Our heartfelt gratitude to GOI for their continued support and to everyone involved in making this project a success.

𝓥𝓐𝓒𝓐𝓝𝓒𝓨 𝓐𝓝𝓝𝓞𝓤𝓝𝓒𝓔𝓜𝓝𝓣 𝓕𝓞𝓡 𝓔𝓝𝓤𝓜𝓔𝓡𝓐𝓣𝓞𝓡𝓢

As per the official letter of National Statistical Bureau vide letter no. NSB/SSD/LFS/2023-2024/356 dated 20th February 2024, the Dzongkhag Administration, Chhukha is pleased to announce vacancies for 7 enumerators for the field data collection of the first quarter of the year 2024. Therefore, interested unemployed university graduates with past experience in surveys and census enumeration (aged between 18 to 45 years) may submit their documents (hard copy) or mailed scaned copy to the Dzongkhag Statistical Office ([email protected]) from 27th February 2024 till 2nd March, 2024.

The applicants should submit the following documents:

• A copy of citizenship identity card.
• A copy of Medical Fitness Certificate valid for six months issued by a competent RGoB medical doctor.
• Copies of academic transcripts of class X, XII, Degree Certificate
• Any other relevant certificates.
Note:
 The preference shall be given to first come first basis for those fulfilling the above criteria.
