“Building a Mindfulness City Together: Our Gewog’s GMC Journey”

The Gewog Administration is proud to share that our staff and community members, led by the Gewog Leader, actively participated in the volunteer program at Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC). This inspiring initiative, under the guidance of His Majesty The King, aims to build a sustainable and mindful city grounded in the values of Gross National Happiness.

We are deeply honored for the rare opportunity to receive an audience with His Majesty, who graciously expressed his gratitude to all volunteers for their dedicated service. This inspiring moment has strengthened our commitment to serve with unity and dedication. We also had the privilege of meeting our Tsirang MP and National Council member during the program.

Beyond the program, volunteers also shared memorable evenings together—visiting hotels and enjoying karaoke—which added joy and camaraderie to the experience. 🌙💐
