The Agri-Entrepreneurship course for aggregator on the theme: '๐ป๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐น๐๐๐๐ ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐จ๐๐๐-๐ฌ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐' was successfully concluded on 13th April, 2026 in Denchi, Pemagatshel-marking a significant chapter in taking a major step towards formation of strong and well-organized agricultural aggregator networking system in the Dzongkhag.
Led by the Samdrup Jongkhar Regional Office of Industry, Commerce and Employment (RoICE) under DoEE in collaboration with Mongar Regional Agricultural and Marketing Cooperatives Office (RAMCO) under DAMC, the fifteen days training brought together over 28 participants (10 male & 18 female) including youth Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET), potential aggregator and aspiring entrepreneurs from the Dzongkhag.
The training aimed to strengthen the capacity of potential aggregator and aspiring entrepreneur towards fostering of farm-based rural-entrepreneurship in the Dzongkhag. It also sought to instill an entrepreneurial mindset, stimulate innovative thinking, ignite new business idea generation and nurturing entrepreneurial culture amongst our farmers in transforming agricultural activities into a viable business enterprises.
Over the training duration, the participants were engaged and delivered session through using structured CEFE methodology-Competency-Based Economies, Formation of Enterprise. These components collectively includes indulging participants in business model generation, business plan preparation, design thinking and financial planning & management. And other elements like business games, role-plays, simulations, industrial field visits and expert-led sessions from livestock & agriculture production were carried out as part of the training action learning methodology.
The closing ceremony and certificate awarding were graced by the Dasho Dzongdag of Pemagatshel Dzongkhag Administration, who commended the participants for their active participation and highlighted the critical role of agri-entrepreneurship in driving local economic growth and rural employment. Dasho also expressed sincere appreciation to the organizing agencies for organizing such initiatives that contribute directly to community empowerment and rural economic diversification.
The successful completion of the Agri-Entrepreneurship Course reaffirms the Ministryโs strong commitment to empowering rural-youth, unlocking entrepreneurial potential, and fostering a resilient and vibrant agri-business ecosystem in the Dzongkhag.
