CAREGIVER.BT was conceived in the year 2019 to create awareness on the ageing and value of life for individuals and families and also to see possibilities to establish Caregiving Social Enterprise to create employment opportunities to our unemployed youth and women in the country. Due to limited capacity and support, we are limited to do this small activities silently till now.

Elderly man in need of care in Tsirang For Tsirang residents, it is normal to see Lal Bahadur Tamang in Dzamlingzor, Tsirang, wandering from place to place and slowly walking along the road.

STRANDED AZHA HAAP FINDS HIS WAY HOME:

Finally we greet bye to Azha Haap who was stranded in Thimphu since 15th January 2022. We have managed to send him along with new Katsho Gup Phuntsho and his Colleagues Gup’s Mr. Namgay and Passang of Samar Gup and Bjina Gup respectively.

With following personalities, we won’t be able to make it:

1. Katsho Gup Phuntsho and his two colleagues Gups.
2. Dasho Dzongda, Thimphu Dzongkhag
3. Dasho Dzongda, Haa Dzongkhag
4. Dasho Dzongrab, Thimphu Dzongkhag
5. RBP Flu Clinic

Dzongkhag Coordinators for Caregiver.bt

We are overwhelmed with the appreciation messages from well wishers within and outside Bhutan for the anonymous work that we are doing. Thank you for spending your precious time to message us.

Good news: We are now appointing one male and one female Dzongkhag coordinators. If you are interested to be part of Caregiver.bt then you should fulfill following conditions;

Condition: The Dzongkha Coordinators shall:

1. be those individual who really want to help others from mind, body and soul by remaining anonymous, not for name, fame and publicity.

2. maintain confidential even within loved ones like parents, family, siblings and others,

3. be able to sacrifice time as and when required.

AZHA HAAP STRANDED IN CAPITAL:

Azha Haap who was supposed to travel back home (Haa) yesterday got standard at our temporary shelter. He was returning from Khuruthang. We are glad that he didn’t go to Wangdiphodrang.

We would like to inform that he is doing fine. He is being fed delicious and his own favorite food.

We are hopeful that he can go back home soon.

UPDATE:

We are concerned about Apa. He has been at Lanjophakha with a hope that he will be traveling home but due to black out, he is stuck there. He must be mentally stressed, very hungry and panicked. He don’t even own phone nor he can’t hear properly.

Good thing is that, one of our members got permit to reach him food and also to inform him about the black out.

Hope things get better.
