In addition to 1,600 youths leaving for oversea employment and their guardians, 3,774 students from various schools were sensitized on human trafficking.
As the youths grow and complete their schooling and enter the job market seeking opportunities, not just within the country but outside the country, ensuring their personal safety is critical. With the aim that, they do not fall prey to the traffickers, the Department organized this public education programme.
