Hon Shima Monageng - MP Molepolole South

Yesterday we had a Kgotla meeting at Ga-Masilwana ward. The Honourable Minister of Labour and Home Affairs Hon Pius Mokgware gave detailed updates on bills recently passed in parliament. Some of the bills passed are: Citizenship (Amendment) Act (No. 26 of 2024), national registration (Amendment) Act, Births and Deaths Registration Act (Review), and finally the Employment and Labour Relations Act (No. 27 of 2025). The Minister highlighted that following parliament proceedings empowers citizens to hold their leaders accountable, directly understand how national budgets and policies impact their daily lives and actively participate in the democratic process.

Let us attend tomorrow's Kgotla meeting in numbers to have a dialogue with our Guest Speaker of the day Honorable Minister Pius Mokgware. We will be at Ga-Masilwana ward.

Following the Clean-Up Campaign launched by H.E President Duma. G. Boko, Molepolole South Constituency Office took the baton and ran along with it by launching the same. Private Companies, NGOs and all other stakeholders made way and what a success story of history being rewritten... Wow! What a day to remember...!!!!

The Honourable Member of Parliament for Molepolole South Constituency Hon Shima Monageng has left for Namibia to attend a SADCOPAC conference. All Kgotla meetings have been suspended due to this conference. Soon enough, a new schedule will be communicated.

Residents of this area were happy to hear positive updates regarding water supply challenges, land allocation, unemployment amongst others.
