Incredible turnout in the 2017 municipal election. 58% of voters made their way to polling stations across the city. Lines were long and sometimes frustrating with reports of stations running out of ballots! But is that not a good problem to have? It's amazing to see so many Calgarians take part in the election, join the conversation and make their vote count!

To vote you need to bring an ID with your name and address on it. Driving licence, utility bill, bank statement all work.

Did you know you don't have to wait until October 16 to make your vote count? You can do it now! You can vote at advance polls until October 11 (excluding Thanksgiving Monday) at stations across the city. This "drive-up" option is only available until Friday. But there's a link to a map in this news story so you can find the closest polling station to you. Get out and vote!
