Calgary is updating its Water Efficiency Plan to keep our water supply reliable as the city grows. The City wants to hear from Calgarians and businesses about how we can support efficient water use and conservation. Calgarians are partners in water efficiency and together we can make every drop count. Please complete an online survey at engage.calgary.ca/waterefficiency before December 7.

Now you can learn about water safety from the comfort of your own home! Last July, we launched our Water Smart Advocate course - a free, self-paced program designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills to be #WaterSmart in any environment! You'll learn about child supervision around the water, the must-haves for a safe day at the beach, how to be safe around ice, drowning statistics, and much more! You'll even get your own certificate once you complete it! HOP closed for the season on September 1 to prepare for the installation of our spiral slide and AquaZip, however Mount Pleasant Outdoor Pool and South Calgary Outdoor Pool are still open for a couple more days.
