Celebrate International Women’s Day on Sunday March 8th by donating period products to help women who suffer period poverty. Contact to donate or pop some products into bins in grocery stores.

The secret is out! collected 58.5 lbs of period products in January which is enough for 117 women. How do we know? A package of products for 1 woman weighs on average 0.5 lbs. Send us a DM if you have products you want to donate. Please share with others. Our period products’ drive is ongoing.

🌸Yesterday was a good day. These period supplies were picked up by a mobile food bank and some
were given to a grade 9 student who had improvised with toilet paper all this week so she wouldn’t miss school.🌸 Often, girls are too shy and embarrassed to
find out if their school can give them supplies.😢

Scotland has become the first country in the world to enshrine the right to free period products in law. 🇬🇧✨
Under the Period Products (Free Provision) Act, local authorities and education providers must ensure that anyone who needs period products — tampons, pads and more — can get them for free with dignity and choice.
This step tackles period poverty, supports health and education, and says loud and clear:
Periods shouldn’t cost a fortune.

The Pad Bank YYC is a fledgling grass roots initiative begun in August 2025. It seeks to end period poverty and advocates for menstrual equity for all. 80 boxes have been received and distributed so far.
