I had to come in quite early today, so I'm sitting in my shop with Phillippe the Pirate and enjoying my morning coffee. It's peaceful. I can see all the autumn colours on Lawlor's Island through my windows - it's beautiful and a stark reminder that summer is really gone.

This was my 11th season at Fisherman's Cove, and I've enjoyed every minute of it. Sitting here in my store, surrounded by books and art and things I love just reminds me how lucky I am to spend my days in this place!

Phillippe and I will be hanging out until 5pm today on this sunny Halloween 😊 And before we know it Christmas will be popping up!
