Central Zone - Congratulations to Jessica and Jaanvi, two very deserving Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre youth volunteers, who were each presented with the Landmark Group of Builders Central Zone Youth Volunteer Scholarship for the 2020 year. Jessica contributed an outstanding 367 hours as a volunteer assisting in many different areas of the Hospital from November 2014 – August 2019. Jaanvi has been an active youth volunteer with RDRHC since Nov. 2015 and has contributed an amazing 420 hours of service so far. Jessica and Jaanvi are two of the most dedicated and reliable youth volunteers I have had the pleasure of working with over my 21 year career as a Volunteer Resources Coordinator with the Red Deer Regional Hospital. They both truly wanted to make a positive difference in the lives of others, improve their community, and change the world for the better. They understand that the important things in life are not what you have, rather what you do. Based on what these extraordinary young ladies have already “done” and continue to do, they are shining examples of walking the talk! The scholarship award will help them and their families to fund the their post secondary studies in their chosen healthcare related field.
