Have you had experience with Alberta's Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) program?

CBC News is seeking input from families across Alberta to better understand their experiences accessing FSCD services and supports. Whether your family is currently receiving services, waiting for support, recently applied, or has participated in the program in the past, your perspective can help contribute to a broader understanding of how families are navigating the system.

We use Safe Management Group (SMG) to train all of our staff who work with autistic children. Train the Trainer is a week-long program where our Safe Management Trainer, Paige, trains other professionals to support severe dysregulation and to understand and reframe behaviour in their own classrooms and communities.

This group came from the Yellowknife Catholic Schools and the Beaufort Delta Divisional Education Council to spend the week in Edmonton with us. Thanks for making the trip from the Northwest Territories!

We attended the AdaptAbilities Breakfast 2026 this morning. We have collaborated with Adaptabilities a few times over the years, and we applaud the good work that they do out in our community. We hope that the Breakfast was successful, and we sure had a great time supporting their courageous work.
