We use Safe Management Group (SMG) to train all of our staff who work with autistic children. Train the Trainer is a week-long program where our Safe Management Trainer, Paige, trains other professionals to support severe dysregulation and to understand and reframe behaviour in their own classrooms and communities.

This group came from the Yellowknife Catholic Schools and the Beaufort Delta Divisional Education Council to spend the week in Edmonton with us. Thanks for making the trip from the Northwest Territories!

Fact Friday! You probably know of the five senses, but did you know that there are considered to be a sixth, seventh, and eight sense? Interoception is often considered the eighth sense, and it has been a focus of research for the last several years.

We attended the AdaptAbilities Breakfast 2026 this morning. We have collaborated with Adaptabilities a few times over the years, and we applaud the good work that they do out in our community. We hope that the Breakfast was successful, and we sure had a great time supporting their courageous work.
