The tent is up, the paths are clear and William Hawrelak Park is ready to welcome Edmontonians back today!
Edmonton’s iconic green space (and festival space) is holding its grand reopening from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
ETS will be in the Main Parking Lot with transit info, free swag and the City’s newest wrapped bus, inspired by Indigenous seniors.
Taking transit is a great way to access events all summer long, and beyond, at Hawrelak Park. Today, you can also pay to park at Windsor Transit Centre and take the free event shuttle!

ETS will take you out to the ball game tonight, whether you’re cheering for the Edmonton Elks Football Club vs. the Calgary Stampeders or attending the Edmonton Riverhawks home opening baseball game vs. the Applesox!
Your game day ticket covers transit fares two hours before and after games.
To support riders with getting to the first pitch or kickoff, theatre rovers dressed in baseball outfits will be at Churchill LRT Station from 5-7 pm!

This weekend, May 30 and 31, Metro Line trains will only run between NAIT/Blatchford Market and Government Centre to accommodate track work near University Station.
Riders travelling further south can transfer to a Capital Line train at any downtown station.

Recently, you may have noticed new art pieces at rail crossings along 111 Street.
Created by students at Harry Ainlay High School and Louis St. Laurent Junior and Senior High School, these art pieces encourage pedestrians to stop, wait, and keep rail safety top of mind.
Thank you to all the participating students for helping promote safety near the LRT! 🎨🚃

As part of the festivities, ETS will be in the Main Parking Lot with transit info, free swag and the City’s newest wrapped bus, with art inspired by Indigenous seniors.
It’s going to be a busy day with limited parking. Focus on fun by taking transit, or pay to park at Windsor Car Park and take the free shuttle!

Football season is around the corner and ETS can get you to Commonwealth Stadium to see the Edmonton Elks Football Club. Use your game-day ticket as fare for regular buses/LRT and Park & Ride buses from 2 hours before the game to 2 hours after the game.
NOTE: Friday’s pre-season game will be at Clarke Stadium. NAIT Lots A/B and D will not be running Park & Ride for this game.
For normal season games Football Park & Ride buses will be operating from the following locations:
- Eaux Claires Lot: 97 St & 157 Ave
- Lewis Farms:1021 Webber Greens Dr
- NAIT Lots A/B and D: 109 St & 118 Ave
- Nakî Transit Centre: 15520 Campbell Rd
