This week we celebrated alongside community member Chris Shae at his solo art exhibition at the wâwâhtêwa art gallery, entitled ehse rauka. Chris’s work is influenced by teachings from his Dene grandfather, a highly regarded medicine man from the Radeli Koe community in the Northwest Territories. Chris is a self-taught painter and produces three to four paintings a week. His work ranges from abstract to figure, to nature and is always connected by the spiritual realm.
We’d like to extend a special thank you to our presenting partner EPCOR Canada for their continued generosity and support.

Drug poisoning is like most other poisoning: you have ingested something that you did not intend to ingest, hidden in what you did intend to ingest. Naloxone quickly and safely combats this poisoning.
