Day 5
Today we’re recognizing the Winnifred Stuart Association and the role they’ve played in supporting this work over the years.
For more than a decade, their group has continued to volunteer with The Salvation Army, offering their time during Kettle season and staying engaged throughout the year. Having that kind of long-term connection has been really meaningful and has helped shape the work we do.
We appreciate the ongoing support from the Winnifred Stuart Association and the care their group brings to the community!
Thanks for all your support.

Day 4
Today we are highlighting Karen, and the huge impact she makes behind the scenes.
As a retired Salvationist, Karen has been giving her time to volunteering for many years. This past Kettle campaign, she took on the responsibility of running the Kettle count room three days a week for six weeks straight. She did not miss a single day, even with our challenging Alberta winter road conditions!
Her consistency and dedication made a real difference in keeping the campaign running smoothly. Karen is someone we can always count on, and for that we are very grateful.
Thank you, Karen, for everything you do!

Day 3
Today, we’re so proud to highlight Assia and everything she brings to our community.
Assia has been volunteering with The Salvation Army for several years, supporting multiple departments with genuine care and dedication. Whether it’s an EDS deployment, a volunteer event, Kettle season, or simply helping out around the Ministry Units, Assia is always willing to step up wherever she’s needed.
Her kindness, reliability, and willingness to help never go unnoticed.
We’re incredibly thankful for Assia and the impact she continues to make. Thank you for everything you do!

Day 2
Today, we want to thank and acknowledge The Salvation Army Edmonton Temple Band for their support throughout the year and specifically during Christmas.
The band practices once per week and gives generously of their personal time and talents to play at events and bring Christmas spirit during the Kettle campaign.
Thank you to each member of the band for supporting us in this way. A certificate was presented at our volunteer appreciation, and accepted by Brian Venables on behalf of the band.

It’s
Last week, we hosted our volunteer appreciation event to recognize the efforts of our volunteers during Christmas and at the CRC all year.
“Life Blooms Where You Water It” and we are so grateful to all our volunteers who help us grow.
This week, we will be highlighting some of our extraordinary volunteers, who are truly our heroes behind the shield.
