Heartbroken over the news coming out of Minneapolis. Again. Standing in solidarity with the protestors, and hoping Senate Democrats stay firm in their promise not to pass the appropriations bill if it includes funding for ICE.

An important read — Trump is pressuring Texas lawmakers to gerrymander their state to give the GOP 5 more House seats in 2026 (despite the wishes of Texas constituents). Democrats are fighting back and risking their jobs in doing so.

This is authoritarianism and government overreach, plain and simple. The supposed party of “small government” and “states’ rights” is fine with throwing that all out the window when it suits them.

A big round of applause for WSJ continuing to release all this breaking news DESPITE Trump filing a lawsuit against them last week. 👏
