The association is made up of local members of the federal Conservative Party and governed by a volunteer board. Happy New Year!

A reminder that we are having our Annual General Meeting this Saturday, Jan 5 at Hillview Baptist Church (253 Woodvale Rd West, lower auditorium). You must be a resident of the riding,a party member as of Dec 22, and provide photo ID and proof of address (driver's license works well).

Edmonton Mill Woods Open For Nominations

Anybody who wishes to be a Nomination Contestant must submit their completed nomination application to Conservative Party Headquarters, 130 Albert Street, Suite 1720, Ottawa, Ontario, K1P 5G4, by 5 p.m. Eastern Time on Thursday, June 14th, 2018

Anybody who wishes to be eligible to vote at the nomination meeting (the date, time and location of which will be announced at a later date) must be a member of the Conservative Party of Canada and residing in the Electoral District of Edmonton Mill Woods as of Thursday, June 21st, 2018.

MP Reception - Let's Talk Politics on March 10!

We are hosting a reception with MP Garnett Genuis (Sherwood Park - Fort Saskatchewan riding) this Saturday, March 10 at 7:30PM at the Mill Woods golf course (4540 50 St NW). Tickets are $20 (cash at the door) just to cover event cost, hors d’oeuvres and cash bar. This is a casual get together, a chance for people to ask questions of a local MP and meet the association board. If you can make it, we’d love to see you there!

Reminder: Delegate Selection Meeting this Saturday!

As part of a grassroots process, we are hosting a meeting on March 10 (this Saturday) as an opportunity for our membership to elect delegates to attend, vote and represent Mill Woods at the CPC National Convention August 23-25, 2018.

When: Saturday, March 10, 2018
Time: Registration at 6:30PM, meeting at 7PM

To be eligible to vote at the DSM an individual must:
Have been a member at least 21 days before the meeting (Feb 16, 2018). If your membership expired after Dec 10, 2017 (within 90 days of the DSM), you may renew your membership at the door.

Provide two pieces of official ID, one of which must show your photo and name, and one your name and address (e.g. recent utility bill).

Have your name on the membership list provided by the Party (current members and those eligible to renew at the door).

See you on the 10th!
