Mosaic 2025 was a beautiful celebration of culture, connection, and community!

Our halls were alive with colour, music, and the incredible energy of students sharing their heritage through food, fashion, and performance. From delicious dishes to dazzling traditional attire, today was a reminder of the diversity and strength within our school.

Thank you to everyone who helped bring this unforgettable day to life—especially our student leaders, performers, organizers, and volunteers. You made Mosaic more than an event—you made it a moment.

Get ready for an epic showdown! The Dodgeball Rematch is back on April 29th during lunch in the large gym—staff vs. students in a battle of agility, wits, and a few questionable throws. Will youth and enthusiasm finally dethrone the reigning teacher champions, or will age and experience prevail?

Sign up now in your grade-level Google Classroom—only the first 30 from each grade get a spot! Mark your calendars and get ready to dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge your way to glory.

2️⃣ Tap the menu (three bars) in the top corner.
3️⃣ Select Next Year and choose Return to Queen E or pick another program/school.

🎉 Huge congratulations to Jamal Zahr, Chloe Beggs, Anna Halfe, Jawad Badawi, Rukmini Gonzalez, Keith Mervyn, Emma Cho, and Dillon Baker for their outstanding participation in the EPSB Night of Music Honour Band and Choir at the Jubilee Auditorium on Wednesday, February 26th! 🎶✨

Over 700 talented students from across Edmonton gathered to showcase the incredible music programming within Edmonton Public Schools, and our Queen E students truly shone bright! 🌟 Performing in front of city officials, the Superintendent, and an audience of over 2000, it was an exhilarating and fabulous night filled with beautiful music! 🎤🎻

The Queen E MSA has planned a month of activities to celebrate Ramadan! All events will be held in the Library commons. Be sure to check the MSA instagram for daily updates on all the activities happening around the school this month.

Parents, did you know the easiest way to report your child’s absence or late is through SchoolZone? Here’s how:

1. Click the three bars (top corner)
2. Select ‘Student Profile’
3. Click ‘Attendance’
4. Tap ‘Enter Attendance’
5. Choose the class(es) and select a reason from the dropdown
6. Press ‘Submit Attendance’

Over 200 talented students from across Alberta gathered for three intense days of lessons and rehearsals—9-hour days of dedication and passion—all leading up to an unforgettable performance on the prestigious Winspear stage.

Under the expert direction of Dr. Angela Schroeder (Professor of Bands & Conducting at U of A) and guest conductor Dr. Shelley Axelson, Rukmini and Jamal absolutely rocked the stage! 🌟🎺🥁

Thank you both for your hard work, commitment, and for seizing this amazing opportunity. Watching you perform was truly inspiring! 👏
