Say No to Bill C-31, & 39! Across the parties, we can see that these bills don't help anyone except looting politicians.

Sheila Colla showed us all that one person can change the future of at-risk wildlife. πŸ’š

It was Sheila who led the campaign to have the rusty-patched bumble bee listed as endangered in Canada and the U.S. - the first such classification for a bumble bee in North America.

Now you can help continue her legacy through the Sheila Colla Pollinator Research Conservation Fund - which will provide scholarships for graduate students enrolled in Canadian post-secondary institutions studying at-risk pollinators across the country.

To respect Sheila’s passion and advocacy, the fund will prioritize awards to students belonging to historically excluded groups in STEM, including women and racialized communities.

Her legacy will continue on by supporting emerging pollinator researchers across Canada.

Of coarse it is important to train to become a warrior. To become stronger, disciplined, resilient, and ready for whatever battle may come… But we need to put just as much effort into tending the garden.

Tend to our families, friendships, communities, and our own peace. Approach these with care, patience, kindness, and compassion. Remember to Listen to and cultivate proper communication.

Yes, build the strength to weather the storms of life, but never become so focused on the warrior that you neglect the very things worth protecting.

Train the warrior. Tend the garden. πŸ€βš’οΈπŸŒ±

Ooo colouring time!

Though found across Canada, the Western Red Lily is most often recognized for being the floral emblem of Saskatchewan.

This one here needs its colour, though! Print this sheet off, grab some coloured pencils, and try to match the striking reds, oranges, and yellows in this beautiful species.
