Hello Everyone,
As you all know that Member Association elections are taking place from April 6 to April 8. This election, students at large, will have an opportunity to double the budget for their respective Member Association by VOTING YES to the referendum questions for Arts and Science Fee levy increase.
Member Associations having more funds will ensure that they can easily host more social events near midterms and finals.
An increase of $1 will enable ASFA to create more on Campus jobs, so students can easily transit between studies and work. Additionally, VOTING YES means that we can increase the number of student bursaries for all ARTS and Science students.
Hence I encourage all Arts and Science students to VOTE YES for a $1 fee levy increase.

My name is Hamza Muhammad and I am running for the General Coordinator of ASFA. I am a third-year student studying Political Science and Economics. Over the last few years, I have served as a board of directors for various organizations. I believe my past experience will acutely help to effectively advance the interest of all students.
Under my leadership, I will ensure that all student voices are heard and represented. My platform for this election constitutes of five major initiatives:
1. Enhance Transparency for ASFA (publishing a bi-weekly Newsletter which will include critical information regarding all projects ASFA is working on)
2. Introduce a workshop for all students to gain practical experience in their respective fields
3. Enhance cooperation between different disciplines to ensure all students are reaching their potential
4. Enhance and update policies of SUSTAINABILITY initiative on Campus
5. Enhance the Mental Health and Psychological Services on Campus
