Another hard milestone in my life. Marking the 1st year of my grandmothers death. My son couldn’t have made this day more special and remarkable by learning Torah for my grandmothers, Shalevs Great Grandmothers so her Neshama (Soul) can have the highest of Aliya’s today. My son makes me proud daily but what he accomplished in this video blew me away. May Shalev go from strength to strength celebrating only happy occasions.

Thank gd I have these memories to cherish. This little activity that we were able to do together made my mother so happy. I was so happy to make it happen. Just spending time together was worth seeing my mother smiling and having fun. I will miss these days so much.

There are not enough words in the world to thank everyone for all the thoughtful and heartfelt posts. From near and far, people I see regularly, friends from lifetimes, clients who are friends, and people who have been with me along my journey. As my Hebrew birthday crossed into my English date it is customary for me to give out the blessings. May each of you celebrate life to the fullest even when things get tough, may you only know peace and kindness, never let yourself stagnate. Follow your heart it will lead to your dreams. Never stop dreaming and always believe in yourself. You got this. Show up as you did for me. You never know when someone needs to feel the love. 💗 and thank you for the intervention it was exactly what I needed. Love you both.
I’ve been dreading this day since the beginning of January. January 16 felt like it would creep up fast, and I tried everything to ignore it, anything to distract from reality. I’ve never really enjoyed celebrating my birthday. The only times I did were for significant milestones when my friends and I decided to have some fun, which might have happened just twice in my life. The real reason I ever celebrated was for my mother, grandmother, and son; it made them so happy. So, I’d have dinner or invite them over. If I were in Florida, we’d spend it with my grandmother. Last minute, even though she wasn’t there, I would have preferred to be surrounded by her energy in her condo rather than at home, so I scrambled for tickets. Unfortunately, it was too late, and I wasn’t thinking straight. Well, the day came anyway. I received some sweet birthday wishes through texts and social media. The rest of the time, I just slept my birthday away.
