Just in time for National Indigenous Peoples Day, our next featured addition is When we are kind = Nihá'ádaahwiinít'į́įgo by Monique Gray Smith 🧡 In this Diné-English edition, Smith details the many ways one can be kind, expressing this universal lesson through colourful depictions of Indigenous families and children. All the while, this powerful little book reminds the young reader that, “When we are kind, we remember we are all related,” seamlessly highlighting the fundamental bonds of empathy, community, and respect.
