Signature :
Penser n’est pas suivre le troupeau. Catchphrase (non officielle, mais assumée) :
I’m right. You’re wrong. Deal with it. Opinions personnelles. Faits non négociables. Aucune excuse.

Jean Aymard is a bilingual Canadian commentator, satirist, and nationally recognized headache. Best known as the host of BURNOUT, Jean delivers daily no-nonsense commentary on politics, culture, media, and whatever else pushed him over the edge that day. Born in the linguistic crossfire of Montreal and raised on the hard streets of Westmount (he claims it was "rough," fact-checkers disagree)
Born fluent in English and French—and disappointed in both—Jean built his worldview the hard way: blue-collar work, too many meetings, and watching common sense get replaced by committees. At 50 years old (but aging suspiciously well), he combines the energy of late-night satire with the patience of a man who has absolutely none left. A proud family man and outspoken defender of traditional values, Jean has been married five times and considers this evidence of commitment, not failure. He believes in family, discipline, and saying what everyone else is thinking but won’t say out loud because HR is watching. Jean is openly anti-monarchy, deeply allergic to bureaucracy, and has publicly proposed replacing Canada with a republic tentatively called The Northern Confederacy. He denies this is a political movement and insists it’s “just a thought experiment… for now.”
On BURNOUT, Jean blends sharp monologues, bilingual sarcasm, and aggressive common sense in short, punchy segments inspired by classic late-night shows—if those shows were hosted by someone who stopped apologizing years ago. He does not aim to be balanced. He aims to be correct. Catchphrase:
“I’m right, you’re wrong, deal with it.”
Opinions are his own. Facts are non-negotiable. Sorry in advance (not really).
