We’re excited to be working with Noble Fir Homes LTD on this renovation. Our team on site has been marking up photos of everything we’ve roughed in, so the client and GC always know exactly what each cable is for and where it’s going.

Pot light locations. Home runs added to the panel. Junction boxes for the hardwired cooktop and wall oven. The hood fan plug stubbed into the millwork. Cables routed through the kick space to come out under the sink. All of it documented before the walls close up.

When finishing starts, nobody is guessing. That keeps the trades organized, saves time and protects the finished product.

Every detail in this home was planned long before the drywall went up. In the dining room, we located the pendant wiring above each placement with a driver. Each pendant drops through a specialty recessed bracket that finishes flush and clean. No canopies, no clutter. Just light.

The bar cabinet got integrated LED lighting under every shelf and below the uppers, so the glassware glows. In the living room, each art light was placed precisely to wash the wall installation without glare.

This is what happens when design, construction and electrical work as one team. Thank you to Hungerford Design and G Wilson Construction for the collaboration, and a big shoutout to our project manager Alexander for running this job so well. 👏

More space, same service, zero waiting on the utility. ⚡

On this major renovation we handled the BC Hydro red tag ourselves: pulled the meter, swapped in a new Siemens panel with plenty of room to grow, and had the house back on in no time. We kept the existing 125A service for now. A 200A upgrade at the garage is planned, and this panel will be backfed from it down the road.

A statement piece deserves the perfect placement. ✨

We repositioned the electrical box so this linear glass pendant hangs dead-centre over the dining table, then hung it level on four aircraft cables. Huge shout-out to Hannah for a flawless install. 👏

Clean behind the walls ⚡

On this main floor renovation with Cresca Construction we relocated the lighting controls into a single remote switch location, all planned around the Lutron RadioRA 3 system.

Tight framing, plumbing stacks and limited space meant every run was mapped before we pulled a wire. The result: neatly stapled, organized home runs and five labelled three-gang banks with clean terminations, ready for RadioRA 3.

Most people will never see this work. We think it’s worth doing right anyway.

Kitchen reno in progress ⚡

Our clients wanted better control over the multi-layered lighting throughout their main floor, so we’re installing new Lotus Tangra pot lights tied into a Lutron RadioRA 3 system. Every layer, one simple control.
