It has been three years since the horrendously shot down passenger flight with two army-grade missiles. A passenger flight that carried 176 civilian passengers, of which 55 were Canadian citizens. But is still silent!

CBC Newsroom's Chris Glover conducted a live interview with one of the organizers of "Woman, Life, Freedom Movement and Solidarity Association" to get better insight into what's happening on the ground in Iran and what is being done in Ottawa in response to that.

The association has organized a 3-day sit-in and hunger strike in front of the Parliament of Canada from the 15th to the 17th of December 2022.

The protest aims to convey the message that the inaction of Canada and the international community in regards to the crimes of the Islamic Republic is killing innocent people in Iran. The protesters are urging them to take meaningful and concrete action to support the on-going revolution in Iran.
