👻 What an AMAZING Halloween party at Zunzun's! 🎃

Yesterday was an absolute blast! We welcomed so many families, and it was such a joy to see all the kids (and some adults, too!) showing off their adorable, spooky, and creative costumes! 🧙‍♀️

We handed out tons of candy, books, toys, and little surprises. And can we talk about how MAGICAL our Halloween Storytime was? Our wonderful Kayley Elizabeth Young, dressed as Alice in Wonderland, brought the beloved classic Room on the Broom to life! So many little ones gathered in our garage, sitting together and listening to the story. Watching all those children completely captivated by the story was simply magical.

That was, without a doubt, Zunzun's favourite moment of the entire evening!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible! To our generous donors, wonderful volunteers, supportive neighbours, and all the families who joined us, we couldn't have done it without you! Your kindness and generosity brought so much joy to so many children.

Thank you for making Zunzun's Halloween party such a memorable evening! 🧡

Our friend Lise Michaud- Soucy's dentist generously donated a whole box of kids' toothpaste to Zunzun Reading Community for our Halloween party, because even Halloween monsters need to brush their teeth!
🪥🍬 With all the candy we'll be handing out tonight, a little reminder about brushing those teeth might be a good idea! 😂
Thank you Lise and her dentist for this donation!

🎃 Our Heart Is Full of Gratitude! 🍬

We would like to send a HUGE thank you to the members of our community who generously donated candy for Zunzun’s Halloween party tomorrow!

And a big thank you to our wonderful neighbours Jacqueline Burke, Olivia, Maria and Geoff, whose generous donations allowed us to purchase four big boxes of candy at Costco!

Candy is incredibly expensive this year, and I want everyone who contributed to know how much I appreciate every single donation, big or small. Every contribution made a difference!

This is a beautiful testament to the power of community! ❤️

Thanks to all of you, we now have a large bin full of all kinds of delicious candy for the children attending tomorrow’s Halloween party. Just thinking about all the smiles this will bring makes me so happy!

Thank you for helping us create beautiful memories for the children in our community!
