Reminder! Your Voice Matters
I’m closing my housing survey on April 15th, and I would truly appreciate your input.
This is part of the work I’m building through Mino Housing Movement Inc to better understand the real barriers our communities are facing when it comes to housing and homeownership.
If you’ve ever felt stuck, unsure, or overlooked in the housing process this space is for you.
Everyone who completes the survey will be entered into a draw on **April 24th**
Your voice is helping shape real pathways forward.

Imagine what the next generation could inherit.
Children growing up in homes their families own.
Land being stewarded by Indigenous families again.
Communities with the knowledge, tools, and financial access to build long-term stability.
This is the future the Mino Housing Movement is working toward.
Not just housing.
But generational transformation.
The work we do today is for the next seven generations.

Allow me to introduce myself, although a lot of you know me personally. However, It has been awhile since I opened up & connected with many of you.
I've been hiding out for a good reason my affirmation these days is " I choose me" which has led me down a journey of self-reflection, personal development and staying disciplined. I will take this time to share what has shaped me and my mission.
I am originally from Pinehouse Lake, Saskatchewan, located in Treaty 10 Territory. Although my roots trace back to my home community, I was raised in Edmonton, Alberta, disconnected from my culture as a result of the lasting impacts of the 60s Scoop.
My upbringing was marked by significant barriers and challenges. I grew up in environments that were often unstable and toxic, navigating systemic inequities, disconnection, and survival at a young age. The absence of cultural grounding created identity struggles that took years to understand and unpack.
But those experiences did not define my limits they shaped my determination.
Through self education, healing, and a commitment to breaking cycles, I developed a growth mindset rooted in accountability, resilience, and reclamation. My journey has been about rebuilding what was disrupted reconnecting to identity, pursuing knowledge, and transforming pain into purpose.
Since 2018, I have been living in Ottawa, Ontario, as a visitor on Algonquin Anishinaabe Territory. Being here has deepened my awareness of Indigenous presence across Nations and strengthened my commitment to Indigenous-led advocacy in housing, equity, and economic empowerment.
As an Indigenous mother of four and an emerging real estate professional, I am dedicated to creating access in systems that have historically excluded our people. I believe housing is more than infrastructure it is safety, stability, dignity, and a foundation for generational healing.
My work is about reclaiming space, building pathways, and ensuring that the next generations inherit more opportunity than struggle.
As an Indigenous woman and mother of four, I’ve witnessed firsthand the deep impacts of poverty and the housing crisis in our communities. These experiences have shaped my passion and purpose: to help bridge the gap in Indigenous led housing solutions and ensure our voices are not only heard, but respected and centered.
I’m currently on the path to becoming a licensed real estate professional, with a mission to bring culturally informed perspectives to the housing market. My goal is to empower Indigenous families to access safe, secure, and affordable housing while advocating for systems that reflect our values, leadership, and sovereignty.
With lived experience, strong roots in community, and a deep commitment to change, I aim to be a voice for Indigenous representation in real estate, urban planning, and policy spaces where our stories, strengths, and solutions can shape the future.

The Mino Housing Movement exists to restore dignity, access and sovereignty in housing for Indigenous communities. We transform lived experiences into education, advocacy and action—guiding our peoples toward reconnecting to their identity, their inherent rights, and self-sufficient property.
Housing is more than just a roof.
This is security.
It's the culture.
This is self determination.
