⚠️Important Alert: Watch Out for Malicious EIP-7702 Delegations

I'm here to tell you about a new scam called "Malicious EIP-7702 delegations"
Over $12 million was recorded to have been stolen due to this hack in August alone.

Scammers are now using a cool Ethereum feature called EIP-7702 to trick people. Ordinarily, this feature lets your wallet act like a “smart assistant” to make transactions easier. But here’s the catch: if you accidentally approve a bad delegation, scammers can easily take your money the moment it arrives in your wallet.

The thing is that most of the scammers create fake sites (like fake mints or giveaways) to trick you into signing something and once you sign the malicious transaction, a sneaky contract takes over and drains your funds automatically.

Let me ask you a question. Do you think your wallet is still safe? Do you think your wallet is affected or compromised?

Then try to use wallet Approvals feature to check and remove any EIP-7702 delegations on your wallet

- Open your Rabby wallet extension
- Click on Approvals
- Then click on EIP-7702 tab. If you have any active delegations you would see the number count. Now go ahead and revoke all.

This EIP-7702 feature is great for making web3 easier, but we all need to be careful. Never sign something you don’t understand. Check your permissions regularly and stay informed.

Here are some easy tips to protect your wallet:

- Only sign things from dApps you trust.
- Read every request carefully before signing.
- Always double check website URLs so that you don't click on phishing links
- Always watch for strange activities on your wallets
- Avoid deals or offers that seem too good to be true.
