Yesterday at WSNCC, our seniors turned a Bingo fundraiser into something really special. Organized by our Bursary Committee and Seniors Department, every dollar raised goes toward keeping the Nadine Pendleton Educational Bursary Fund alive for West Scarborough students. 🎱
There’s something really powerful about watching our seniors invest in the futures of the young people in this community. ❤️
Thank you to everyone who came out, donated, and worked hard to make the day a success. If you’d like to make an impact too, you can donate on our website at the link in our bio. 🙏

How thoughtful is this? 🌸💚 Arterra Wines Canada assembled 150 Mother’s Day kits and donated them to mothers right here in West Scarborough, made possible through who connected them with our community. Personal care items, an activity book, a message of hope card, and so much more packed into every single one.
Thank you to both organizations for thinking of us. This really means a lot. 🙏

Our finance team had a great time at BAASS Connect 2026 this week!👏
The conference brought together finance and technology leaders from across Canada for a full day of expert-led sessions, hands-on demos, and real conversations about smarter ways to manage and grow organizations like ours. A valuable day for the team and we’re excited to bring what we learned back to WSNCC.

Take a look at these shots from last week where our EarlyON families came together to celebrate Eritrean and Ethiopian culture. 🌍✨
Celebrations like this one are made possible through our FREE EarlyON programs, which bring together children aged 0 to 6 and their caregivers for play, learning, and community connection. Check the link in our bio to learn more!

Over a hundred seniors came together yesterday for our Mother’s Day Luncheon and what an afternoon it was. 🌸💚 Singing, dancing, and a beautiful lunch shared with some of the most wonderful people in West Scarborough.
A huge thank you to the volunteers from who helped set up and cater the event. Your generosity made the day possible and our seniors felt every bit of it.
An early Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mothers in our community. 💐

One of our favourite things about West Scarborough? The people who take initiative for their community. As a trustee for the Local Leadership Grant, WSNCC is proud to help organize and amplify resident-led groups doing meaningful work right here in the neighbourhood. 🌱💚
This is the PDP Resident-Led Group, who recently held a gardening training as part of their initiative right here at WSNCC. It was so great to see our community gather around something they’re passionate about. This is West Scarborough doing what it does best.
Thank you to for supporting initiatives like this one. 💚

Yesterday we were proud to attend Amplify 2026, First Work’s annual leadership conference bringing together community organizations, social infrastructure leaders, and policymakers to talk about the future of workforce development in Canada. 📝⚒️
Conversations like these matter, and we’re glad to be at the table. The work happening right here in West Scarborough is part of a much bigger picture.
