I have just created this page for Grey Gables. It was a mansion situated at 45 McGlashan Road, atop Hogg's Hollow at Yonge and York Mills in Toronto, ON Canada. Rudy and I began our married life and family life there. We lived on the property for 7 years. First in the 2 bedroom coach house, then in the mansion.
The estate was purchased from the Tudhope family in the early 1970s. Belmont Property Management was the new owner and planned to build a number of luxury homes on the top and a luxury condominium on the side of the hill. In 1979 the house and coach house were demolished and new homes erected. The condo on the side of the hill is called York Mills Place and it is situated at 3900 Yonge Street just south of York Mills. The old alabaster fireplace from the main bedroom is featured in the lobby of York Mills Place.

Grey Gables was a grand house once situated at 45 McGlashan Road, Toronto.The property was part of a farm owned by pioneer, Andrew McGlashan.Later, it was purchased by the Tudhope Family who owned it until the late 1970s.
