Morgan asked her husband and sister if they wanted to visit San Franciso for a few days to see family, including Ash. She also made sure to inform them about Uncle Luke's mood.

Morgan, Izzy, and Belle embarked on a research trip to the libraries in both Little and Greater Hangleton in the hopes of uncovering information about the Riddle family. After scouring through various archives, they managed to find a handful of articles that provided details about the family's lineage, including marriages, deaths, and birth announcements. They'd found things from the late 1800s to the most recent 1960s, which wasn't that current since that was still almost ninety years ago. They had made copies of everything to show Jacob when they returned to the inn.

Determined to dig deeper, they visited the City Hall in Little Hangleton to gather more information about the former Riddle Manor. They discovered that the property was currently owned by Petra Holdsworth and Elna Crabtree, who had purchased it almost ten years ago in July 2040. It seemed the property now belonged to a le***an couple, though some papers also indicated that no one was currently living at the property.

Morgan anticipated seeing Addom; she had waited three years to rip and tear into him. Three years of biting her tongue and smiling politely on the rare occasions she was around him. He had nearly gotten her sister killed. A result of him having tried to plan the murder of a member of her family. Belle was her family, and that made Belle’s family, including Jacob, her family, too.

In six months, it would be her 2nd wedding anniversary. Sometimes, she thought about the future and having children with Nathan. They both came from large families. Nathan was the second oldest of seven, and she was the second oldest of five.

Morgan was overjoyed to receive a homemade peach cobbler from her mother. Morgan carefully sliced a piece, placed it in a bowl heated it up, and topped it with a generous scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream. As she took the first bite, the warm, juicy peaches and buttery crust melted in her mouth and she debated even sharing this sweet with her sister and husband but decided that she would be kind.
