On 10 November 2025, had the privilege to host a Citizenship Ceremony in partnership with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

Under the leadership of Citizenship Judge Albert Wong, participants took the Oath of Citizenship and were formally welcomed as Canada’s newest citizens. It’s an honour for the Royal Canadian Navy to support this milestone moment as people from diverse backgrounds officially join the Canadian family. 🇨🇦⚓

Le 10 novembre 2025, le a eu le privilège d’accueillir une cérémonie de citoyenneté en partenariat avec Immigration, Réfugiés et Citoyenneté Canada.
Sous la direction du juge de citoyenneté Albert Wong, les participants ont prêté le serment de citoyenneté et ont été officiellement accueillis comme nouveaux citoyens canadiens.
C’est un honneur pour la Marine royale canadienne de soutenir ce moment historique où des personnes d’horizons divers rejoignent officiellement la famille canadienne. 🇨🇦⚓

Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, was welcomed aboard on November 5, where he met with sailors and learned more about the Naval Reserve’s unique role in Canada’s largest city. 👑🍁⚓

Commander Paul Smith and Chief Petty Officer Second Class Andrew Payton highlighted the unit’s work in recruiting and training sailors to support ongoing operations at home and abroad. The Duke also heard firsthand about the realities of balancing military service with civilian life; an experience that resonated throughout the visit.

Naval Reservists consistently demonstrate commitment, resilience, and leadership while juggling family responsibilities and civilian careers. The Duke’s visit underscored the dedication of our sailors and the families who support them.

Prince Harry toured Canadian Armed Forces establishments during his visit to Toronto at the invitation of the True Patriot Love Foundation, Canada’s national foundation supporting the military and Veteran community.
