Thank you to all of our neighbours who came out to support our Open House and Book Sale!

Library patrons found book bargains, searched for authors in the adult scavenger hunt, made buttons and bookmarks, and got to know their neighbourhood library.

We still have spots open in tomorrow's Seniors E-Connect session, where seniors with tech questions are paired up with helpful, tech-savvy teenagers. The session will take place Tues May 12, 4pm-5:30pm.

During this month's Cozy Corner Social Club we'll be making origami and playing board games and card games.

We're turning 102 and we're celebrating with a Big Book Sale and Open House!

These painted creations "rocked" our world on Monday at Gerrard Ashdale Library's monthly Adult Crafternoon.

We made "self-portraits" and other collages during our March Adult Crafternoon at the Gerrard/Ashdale library.

In advance of the sale, we are accepting donations of books, CDs, DVDs, and comics in excellent condition. All funds raised will support the Toronto Public Library.

Learn and have fun this spring at our series of three parenting workshops offered by Toronto Public Health.

For each session, we will have our usual Friday Family Time (stories and songs) from 11am-11:20am, followed by the parenting workshop from 11:20am-11:50am. Crafts and toys will be available to attempt to entertain the little ones during the parent workshop.

Friday April 17: Positive Parenting
Friday May 15: Food and Mood
Friday June 12: Managing Stress in Children

These workshops are aimed at parents/caregivers of children age 0-6.

We are thrilled to welcome Cynthia Good, former president and publisher of Penguin Books, for her talk, An Insider's Guide to Publishing, on Monday April 13, 2pm-3:30pm.

Aimed at both readers and writers, this lively presentation pulls back the curtain on Canadian publishing and provides insight into the world of the book industry. For those who wish to pursue publication, this is an opportunity to learn how to submit proposals and query letters, and get feedback on your book description.
